Author: johnbvaleri

I was an independent contractor for Examiner.com from February of 2009 to July of 2016. My Hartford Books Examiner column consistently ranked in the top ten percent of all Hartford, National Books and National Arts & Entertainment Examiners. My reviews have been excerpted in more than fifty titles written by popular authors ranging from Wally Lamb and Debbie Macomber to James Patterson and Marcia Clark. I regularly moderates author interviews and book discussions at bookstores, conferences, and libraries throughout Connecticut; I have also appeared on television and radio. I made my fiction debut in Tricks and Treats, a Halloween-themed anthology out from Books & Boos Press this fall. I currently contribute to Mystery Scene Magazine, The National Book Review, The News and Times, The Strand, Suspense Magazine, and CriminalElement.com.
